LINDBERG
– THE ORIGINAL DANISH DESIGN
The Danish LINDBERG glasses are the world‘s lightest titanium frame
with a frame-weight of less than 3 grams. They are free of screws,
rivets, and solderings. A simple, unobtrusive construction that
never distracts the attention from the face.
LINDBERG is a frame building system with uncountable possibilities
for the combination of colours, shapes, and sizes. The LINDBERG

The
metal frames are made of titanium wire, a lightweight and
hypo-allergenic material. Despite its simple and lightweight
construction, the frame is incredibly robust and stable. The
titanium wire can be colored in various silken-lustre or polished
hues through an electrolytic process. The lens edges, too, can be
given one or more colors. The nose pads and temple ends are made of
medical silicone, a material that keeps the light glasses
effectively in place.
LINDBERG Junior are the ultimate glasses for children – They look
good and you can barely feel that you are wearing glasses and the
frames can take virtually anything…
Also,
most LINDBERG models are available in precious metals: 18 CT (750)
gold, white gold or platinum (950) and as combinations of these
materials.
Specially designed clip-ons with cases have been designed for all
the LINDBERG lines. LINDBERG frames also have for sale an award
winning, stainless steel case (see our accessories page – Picture
008) which was designed especially for this line.
LINDBERG is created by Optometrist Poul-Jørn Lindberg from Aarhus
in collaboration with architects Dissing+Weitling, Copenhagen,
Denmark.

is based on LINDBERG's extensive selection of lightweight,
flexible and modern titanium frames in which aesthetics, innovation
and function is given pride of place.
The elegant plate
temples, distinctively offsetting the minimalist design,
beautifully contrast the virtually invisible front. Wearer
comfort is ensured through the countless options for adjustment,
LINDBERG X's low weight and the specially developed
medical silicone nose pads.
